The Southport and District Badminton League use Badminton England's Tournament Software for all their divisions and team competitions, SDBL were the first local league in the country to go live on tournament software in the 2021/22 Season

The Watkinson Trophy is the crown jewel in all league competitions, like in footballs FA cup any team from and division can play each other, making for some exciting games
