Woodvale Badminton Club
Woodvale BC is one of the largest clubs in the Southport & District Badminton League, with 8 teams across all ability levels. The club was formed in 1967 with only two teams & over time has grown under the leadership of Malcolm and Julie Banham. The 1st team is settled in Division 1 and won the Championship Shield for the first time in the 2012/13 season.
Miles Johnson played for the club for several seasons from 2000, winner of a Commonwealth Games medal. The club has a vibrant and successful junior section with over 60 youngsters receiving weekly coaching sessions, and also caters for adult beginners. New members are always welcome.
We have a club night every Monday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm @ Greenbank High School.
